Research Foundation - CAVS Math
The CAVS program is based on extensive research (Marzano & Pickering, 2005*) supporting the most effective methods for teaching content-specific vocabulary. Using a cyclical 5-step lesson design, combining hands-on learning with real manipulatives, CAVS provides high-interest instruction for all learning styles, resulting in success for a broad range of students.
